Thank you for visiting Vintage Collective London & sister brand Vintage Collective Eyewear. We’re a small, independent UK-based business passionate about sourcing and sharing curated vintage sunglasses, eyewear, clothing, and accessories.

These Terms and Conditions are here to explain how we run things — from buying through our website to returns, privacy, and the legal bits. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

1. Who We Are

Vintage Collective London is an independent online store based in the UK. We specialise in handpicked vintage and deadstock eyewear, accessories, and clothing. Each item is individually selected, often one-of-a-kind, and full of character.

 

2. Our Products

​

  • All of our items are vintage, deadstock, or pre-loved. This means they may show light signs of age or wear — which we consider part of their charm!

  • We always aim to describe each item clearly and provide accurate photos, but please keep in mind that vintage items are sold as seen.

  • Sizes, colours and measurements are approximate and may vary slightly from what you see on your screen.

  • If the item is a new designer piece or a new unique item which is in keeping with our brand style, we will inform you of this in the item description, and it will not be sold as a vintage piece.

 

3. Placing an Order

  • Once you place an order, you’ll receive an email confirmation. If you don't see it, check your spam folder.

  • All orders must be paid in full before shipping.

  • We accept payment via secure methods including debit/credit cards and PayPal.

  • We reserve the right to cancel orders in case of error, stock issues, or suspected fraud.

 

4. Delivery

  • We ship from the UK, using Royal Mail or a trusted courier service.

  • Delivery times are estimated and may vary — especially during busy seasons or for international orders, we will keep you informed when your item has been shipped.

  • You’re responsible for entering the correct shipping address.

  • International buyers are responsible for any customs or import charges.

 

5. Returns & Exchanges

​

We’re a small business and every item is unique, so we don’t offer refunds unless something has gone wrong on our end (like the item is damaged or very different from what was described).

We do offer:

  • Exchanges, where possible, though most of our stock is one-off items.

To return an item:

  • Email us at info@vintagecollectivelondon.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be returned in the same condition, unworn and unaltered.

  • Return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns on:

  • Eyewear that has been worn or adjusted

  • Sale items (unless faulty)

If you have a query about your order, please email us and we will look into the issue.

 

6. Item Condition & Authenticity

  • Every item is sourced by hand and quality-checked by us.

  • Vintage pieces may have minor flaws due to age, which will be noted in the description, the condition of each piece will be clearly documented.

  • All items are cleaned and may include minor professional repairs that will be highlighted, where relevant, in the item description.

  • All sunglasses and optical frames are authentic and sold as vintage collectables. Optical frames may need lens replacement by your optician.

 

7. Copyright & Use of Website

  • All content on this site — including photos, descriptions, logos, and design — is owned by Vintage Collective London.

  • Please don’t copy, reproduce, or use any content without our written permission.

 

8. Your Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. When you shop with us, we only collect the info we need to process your order (like name, email, shipping address).

  • We never sell or share your data.

  • Payments are processed securely.

9. Liability

  • We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our site or products.

  • Our total liability for any claim related to your order is limited to the amount you paid for the item.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal disputes will be resolved through the UK courts.

 

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted here and will apply from the date of posting. Please check back occasionally if you’re a regular visitor!
